This course will cover new technologies in high durability architectural coatings for interior spaces such as walls, doors, and trim in commercial and institutional venues such as healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and governmental buildings for both new and maintenance applications. Attendees will learn about the latest durability, safety, and economic trends affecting building decision makers and the top three preferences desired from a new coating determined by multiple in-field interviews. Benchmark comparisons of current architectural paints and coatings will be covered along with new high durability architectural coating technologies. This is an intermediate level course designed for attendees that have a general understanding of paints and coatings.
